At Vine Tree Vets we provide high quality care to all our equine clients. All of our vets are truly mixed practitioners who work with companion animals, farm animals and horses (plus the occasional zebra and reindeer!!)


IMG_0863Whilst we endeavour to provide as much equine care and treatment as possible we do not have facilities for hospitalisation, surgery at the clinic or equine x rays. We do however have close links with Three Counties Equine Hospital, so for anything above and beyond our diagnostic and surgical capabilities we can arrange swift referral to them.


  • Routine visits – vaccinations and health checks
  • Faecal worm count and worming treatment
  • Basic lameness work ups
  • Wound repair
  • Colic diagnostics and medical treatment
  • Medical cases – Cushing’s, RAO etc
  • Routine castration – performed standing wherever possible
  • In house blood and faecal analysis facilities
  • Basic equine dentistry
  • Sedation for farrier/dentist/clipping
  • Sarcoid treatment (in conjunction with Professor Derek Knottenbelt)
